Best Baguette opened in 2006 with a single dream, to spread the healthy and delicious taste of Bánh mì to Portland while maintaining low costs, and high quality food. By creating a menu with both French and Vietnamese sandwiches and a wide assortment of other items, Best Baguette satisfied an even wider range of tastes.
The rebrand identifies and understands the target audience and original values of Best Baguette but with a modern twist. Handmade elements such as a hand lettered type and illustrations were applied to keep the comfort and "homey-ness" feeling, but paired with a serif typeface to give some seriousness to the establishment. Original colors were kept to tie familiarity to
their customers.
